Woodline armchair by Marco Zanuso for Arflex

Designed by Marco Zanuso for ARFLEX, Italy in 1964.

An extremely comfortable armchair. It’s somewhat adjustable. You can adjust the height of the seat by un-hooking the back and adjusting it onto another hook. (picture) The frame is made from black painted plywood. the paint shows signs of use..

Underneath the seatcussion it has some damage to the Original blue ribbed upholstery, but you won’t see it when it’s used in a normal way and it doesn’t effect its structural strength. You can actually now see the leaf-springed metal frame that is making this chair so extremely comfortable.
