Chest of drawers by Ate van Apeldoorn

This chest of drawers designed by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem – Holland, 1960.

The artist only uses localy produced wood. So this chest of drawers iss made of Dutch pine tree. He wanted to be as enviromental friendly as possible. Ate van Apeldoorn was the founder of Houtwerk van Hattem and used to design simplistic furniture.

This chest of drawers was used in a home office and almost looks as good as new!

Hard to find in this condition.
